Eric Gross was born and raised in Washington, D.C. where
he first started making videos on a VHS camcorder.

He has studied filmmaking at Pomona College in California and FAMU film school in Prague. Since then, Eric has written, directed, and edited music videos, commercials, and short films. His work has been exhibited all over the world.

His short film “Detention” screened at over a dozen festivals in the US. His PSA’s about educational debt for Center For American Progress won a Jury Prize at the Contagious Film Festival, sponsored by the Huffington Post. His latest short film, “The Fortune Writer”, recently won best dramatic short at the Lower East Side Film festival.

In addition to writing and directing, Eric is an accomplished commercial editor, having worked on such brands as ESPN, Sharp, Google, Vice, Nokia, Center for American Progress, Etsy, and Jordan.
